Pine straw is not only affected by the weather elements, but also to an oxidation process which is created by a combination of exposure to the elements and the harmful UV rays from the sun.

The decomposition rate of mulch is very quick. Sometimes within 30 to 60 days newly applied mulch will already show signs of oxidation as its color begins changing from brown to gray. In some cases, pine straw already shows signs of oxidation before it is ever applied depending how old it is before application.

Our mulch solutions slow the decomposition and oxidation process. This will provide preservation of your mulch/pine straw and reward you with that year-round fresh new look.
